Non-Executive Director (NED)

The role of the Non-Executive director is to provide independent expertise to the board of directors. Having worked in technology for 20 years I can provide that Technology expertise and advice to you.

Throughout my 20+ year career in IT I have worked in companies from start-ups through to multi-nationals in an array of vertical markets from manufacturing, telecoms, entertainment, financial services, and law enforcement. During this time I have been involved in projects and programmes of all sizes up to £100m+ involving thousands of people, and worked in traditional waterfall methodologies through to all forms of agile including Scrum, and Kanban.

During my career I have designed/built and supported a wide range of software products including mobile applications and web portals, integrated to many and varied enterprise backend systems. I have also enjoyed the challenge of having worked through many mergers/acquisitions which has led to a number of large integration projects challenged with crashing together 2 of more sets of technology together to provide a seamless user experience.

Whilst working as a Fractional CTO I have led the technology function for 9 SME clients having a combined IT budget of £5m per year, and sat on the board for 5 clients providing the technology focussed strategic thinking required. My clients span a wide range of industry verticals including healthcare, hr, lifestyle, construction and property tech.

Throughout my career I always keep up to date on the latest technologies and look to find ways in which these can be applied to solve customer problems. Technology as always is hugely important in delivering solutions for customers, and customers are always at the front of my mind.
